Job Description

We are looking to hire a dynamic, self-motivated Associate / Sr Associate level Business Manager to support the Wholesale Credit Risk team by providing strategic support, financial insight, and decision-making guidance. This individual will effectively partner with and influence areas such as Product& Sales, Technology, Finance, Operations, Compliance, etc. The role will be based in Mumbai, India and functionally report into Wholesale Risk Business Management in New York.Key responsibilities:

  • Support business head to drive strategy and growth on behalf of the business
  • Align front office teams and support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, HR) to business priorities
  • Identify and manage business risks, including the control agenda
  • Optimize business performance and planning, including planning and expense management, headcount planning, communication strategy, location strategy
  • Facilitation of people agenda including oversight of resource recruitment and contribution to training agenda
  • Project manage initiatives in support of business priorities
  • Support regulatory requests and audit coordination as appropriate
  • Contribute to F&BM agenda including key projects, including strategic and control related initiatives
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Business Management experience and/or knowledge of CIB businesses preferred
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of credit products is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good judgment, maturity and poise to enable interaction/influencing of senior level staff
  • Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and execute on a variety of deliverables
  • Energetic, self motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced and demanding working environment
  • Self-starter able to prioritize key tasks effectively
