Job Description

  • In depth Knowledge of Foundry Process
  • In depth Knowledge of Foundry Technology processes of Grey Cast Iron for Automobile Cylinder head & Block
  • In depth Knowledge of Core making process like Shell sand and cold box process.
  • Good Knowledge about green sand properties and their relation with product as well as process Quality.
  • Knowledge of Green sand moulding process (HPML) , Press Pour and Induction melting.
  • Fully conversant with QMS Knowledge
  • Quality Systems, Knowledge about problem solving techniques 7 QC tools, DCP, PFMEA, QCRT, PPAP,SPC & MSA concepts etc.
  • Knowledge of DOE/advance statistical tools
  • Knowledge of ECN implementation Process
  • In-depth Knowledge of Concern resolution systems
  • Knowledge of various audit systems like ISO9001:2015,TPM, MAPS, MMEA, MQS
  • Use MPPAP, APQP, MSA and SPC in decision making in all areas.
  • Good in POKAYOKA concept implementation
  • HEP concept implementation
  • Audit to be carried as per set Quality guidelines
  • In depth knowledge about foundry Defect
  • Conduct structured reviews of current issues on critical components
  • Analyze the % rejection data monthly and decide further actions for review / audit / visit
  • Ensuring work force training in terms of Quality systems to improve the outgoing quality
  • Monitoring of Field failures
  • Analysis of field failures & providing solution as fast as possible
  • Deployment of current learnings on new product to ensure first time right new product
  • Ensuring sustenance of actions taken
  • Improving response time to user concern
  • Co-ordination with other cells for faster implementation of solution
  • Challenge creativity in design & development of Poka-Yoke s & Kaizens
  • Knowledge about Global trends in Castings mfg. Technological upgrades with benchmark practices.
  • Job Requirements Experience (years) 5 - 7 years Industry Preferred Cylinder Block and Cylinder Head producing Cast iron Foundry. Qualification B.E /Diploma (Mechanical/Production) Personality Traits Competencies . Team work/ Customer focus/ Analytical ability/ Execution excellence.
