Job Description

Location: MaharastraDesignation: Asst. Manager-QA (Experience in a Spice Industry is a must)JD:Position Summary

  • Responsible for the overall QA/QC activities of the organizations and effective implementation of FSMS across the value chain
  • Responsible to ensure testing of raw material, packing material, semi finished and finished product as per FSSAI & IS Standards, to meet the requirements.
  • Conducting regular inspection for Food Safety Assessments for compliance, across the organization.
  • Review customer complaints and to ensure CAPA
Quality Assurance:Need to ensure compliance to Quality systems in product manufacturing, packaging and release of products into market.Quality Control:
  • Need to ensure batch manufacturing records and analytical records are reviewed for its completeness and compliance to meet standards set by both companies and regulatory authorities (domestic as well as export)
  • Implementation of the HACCP system and its monitoring in all the departments including contract packing units of
  • To maintain Quality manual and to oversee the product specification of raw material/packing material/SFG & finished product and maintaining all relevant records. Handling Product related complaints, Product failures, Deviations and Incidents are investigated, resolved as per the laid down procedure in time.
  • Shall be responsible for overseeing the QA activities of various Facilities, Warehouse & implement necessary changes in respective areas.
  • To review and approve all Validation Protocols and Reports related to Quality/SAP.
  • To ensure internal audits are performed on schedule and notify the senior management for any discrepancy noticed.
  • Training and development of QA/QC team. Approve batches, incoming raw materials, and routine analysis of the different samples to classify their physical and chemical identity.
  • Must be able to perform analysis from the following analytical equipment: HPLC, UV SPECTRAETC .
  • Maintain all analytical equipment according to the schedule and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Complete all paperwork related to the analysis (Calibration Log, Finished Goods Log, Raw Materials Log,ETC.)
  • Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
  • Review and Update test methods and procedures according to SOP.
