Job Description

    The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Risk Management team, led by the AWM Chief Risk Officer (CRO), is aligned to the Asset Management (AM) and Global Private Bank (GPB) lines of business covering the broad spectrum of risks inherent in the AWM business. The team s independent oversight includes Credit Risk, Fiduciary Risk, Counterparty Risk, Investment Risk, Reputation Risk, and Market Risk. Role In the role, your main responsibility will be to utilize your broad understanding of AWM and its support functions (e.g. operations, technology, compliance, Risk, guideline management, etc.) to contribute to Global Private Bank Risk Business Management initiatives, specifically supporting the GPB Credit Risk organization. The work consists of ongoing, BAU processes as well as discrete projects that are strategic in nature. Based in Mumbai, the role will work closely with the other GPB Risk business managers and the GPB Credit Risk team.You will:
    • Coordinate and/ or prepare materials for senior management including Risk Committees, business reviews, country specific business reviews, and periodic presentations for regulators.
    • Improve governance framework for GBP Risk, including preparation of materials and minutes for Regional Risk Committees, Credit Risk Forums and other LOB Risk forums
    • Manage critical risk priorities, activities and deadlines for the GPB Credit Risk team
    • Drive agendas and hold leaders accountable for Risk leadership team meetings, Town Halls, etc.
    • Research and help formulate conclusions to broad risk issues
    • Provide project management for regulatory remediation for items with a cross risk management impact
    • Establish regular communication with the Business and Risk team regarding risk issues, including policy, trends, regulatory (present updates at regular forums)
    • Build strong relationships across the organizations key support areas including risk, front office, controls, compliance and legal
    • Develop management reports, provide updates and present to Senior Management
    • Support ad-hoc risk control and business management activities for GBP Risk Management and local management, including ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior management
    Skillsets:
