Job Description

Senior backend developer

  • As a backend developer at Toluna, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and support of multiple web components that are part of our Web based products.
  • You will work and interact with multiple teams/locations and get full ownership of components.
  • Tolunas vision is to build a platform for Market Research that is highly scalable, Web and Cloud based and enables anyone to ask for consumers opinions.
  • You will mainly specialize in backend software development, helping our vision come true.
  • You will build highly scalable and extensible systems, processing big amounts of Web data.
  • You will be instrumental in helping Toluna build our next-generation web applications.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSC/BCA/MCA/B.tech in Computer Science (or related) from a high ranked University.

Several years experience in commercial or open source software development:

  • asp.Net or Java
  • Large and scalable software systems;
  • Databases and repositories (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, etc.);
  • Work with remote teams in an agile environment;
  • Outstanding drive and communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Frontend frameworks such as: MVC, javascript, NodeJs, AngularJs, React.
  • Internet APIs: Tensorflow, AWS, etc.
  • Big Data: ElasticSearch, Hadoop
