Dear Applicant,We are looking for an energetic and dedicated banquet server/cater waiter to join our growing staff. In this role you will work alongside our current team members to cater events. Candidates should possess an efficient work ethic, a friendly and professional demeanor, and be comfortable being on their feet for several hours at a time. Interested candidates should contact us for the job position.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with table and banquet hall prep before the eventAssist with food/buffet preparation before and during the eventEnsure safe food handling guidelines are followed by self and team membersArrange food on serving trays in an aesthetic mannerDeliver food from the kitchen and/or prep area to the banquet hall in a timely mannerServe appetizers and plated dinners to guestsOpen wine, take drink ordersServe both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesRefill water glassesTake customer questions and/or requests, assist in a timely and satisfactory mannerAssist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear downWork as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfaction
