Job Description

This individual will perform a key role in all facets of the Data Warehouse, Big data and Business intelligence associated with mergers and acquisitions. This role will also support the build of PKI Data Lake with focus on Data Modeling, Architecture and ETL. This role will play a pivotal role in the data science and machine learning initiatives in the company.Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on technical expertise on the overall architecture, technical design, implementation, and production support activities of the Big Data, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
  • Provide expert level development and design in capabilities around Data Science, Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
  • Hands on design and development work on business intelligence, data warehouse and big data applications.
  • In addition to the technical responsibilities, this individual will be responsible for working directly with our end users and the business team to capture requirements.
  • Build and deploy best practices/standards of big data, data warehouse, business intelligence technology and processes.
  • Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.Develop data models for Data Lake and Data Warehouse according to company standards.
  • Optimize data warehouse and data lake systems for performance efficiency.Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned projects
Skills Required:
  • Overall 10+ years experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Data Lake implementations using either Redshift or Snowflake or Hadoop
  • 2+ years of experience in computational statistics and data analysis
  • Proficiency in programming in Python and R
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as linear and logistic regression, k-NN, Na ve Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, time series analysis, neural networks
  • Experience with data science toolkits, including Python, SAS, R, Weka, NumPy, Matlab
  • Expert programming knowledge in Spark, Pig or Hive
Skills Nice to Have:
  • Work experience with SAP, SAP BW, SAP BOBJ
  • Experience with Oracle DW SQL, PLSQL
  • Data Visualization experience using spotfire/tableau
  • Experience with M&A
  • AWS Certifications (Architect/Developer)
