Job Description

    Roles & Responsibilities:-Evaluate the existing data sources within the organization and identify sources that areessential to building a central data architecture plan.Gather the needs of key stakeholders that will be addressed through the data architectureand a central data platform.Evaluate the sanity and accuracy of the data sources that are being mapped into the centraldata architecture plan.Benchmark within and outside the industry to identify data sets, sources, tools both internaland external that are being used to drive business decisions.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manualprocesses, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional businessrequirements.Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of datafrom a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customeracquisition, retention, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.Collaborate with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams toassist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple datacentres and AWS regions.Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in buildingand optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.Define and document standard operating processes to ensure knowledge management andeasy transfer of information to team members.Drive regular sanity checks to ensure data accuracy and prevention of data leakages and ensure problems are identified on time and addressed. Build automated red flags whereverpossible.Stay abreast with the latest tools, technologies and changes to ensure timely adoptionwherever applicable.Regards,Team HR
