Job Description

IT Business Analyst job more technology-focused. This position is a IT Business Analyst which supports the Mobile solution , development needs fordifferent application.To Work as part of IT on business process solutions, data collection, data integrationCreate designs for technical solutions to resolve business problems and try out components of new systems for efficiency.Reach out to clients and project leaders/Department in the course of work in order to identify and evaluate user and business requirements.Understanding of systems engineering concepts.Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.Business change and software implementations tend to go hand-in-hand.Understanding the needs of multiple departments.Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.Requirement gathering (BRD) by senior business and technology stakeholders and deliver high quality functional documentsWork closely with the development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programsCollaboration with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure total and shared understanding of requirementsProactively identify gaps and call-out risks to project deliveries and communicate them to stakeholders and provide support to the consumer during UAT and go live.Proficient with documentation and analysis techniques and tools (MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio) etc.Perform database queries using SQL and analyze large, complex data setsAnalyze huge data and identify any functional gaps (based on data quality exceptions generated through Informatics Data quality tool) across organisationPerform root cause analysis on these functional gaps, conduct / organize sessions with SMEs to discuss / brainstorm these gaps and present these functional gaps in a summarized manner to enhance data quality.Work extensively with the Issue Management & Remediation team on identified data quality and reconciliation issues.Coordinate with techno functional team in explaining them the logic based on which the data for specific domain and explain the functional gapsPartner with data domain owners to develop new functional logics in existing SQL queries; which will enhance and support the goal of quality data being used for reporting purposes.Produce and distribute daily/weekly team Status reports and contribute to project status reporting depending on the undertaking at handCreate SOPs, perform knowledge transfer and cross training for proper backup in teamHave conceptual understanding of the domains like Risk, Finance, Global Markets, Securities Referentialetc.Good understanding of financial products like equities, bonds, derivatives,MF etc.Able to summarize critical issues in commentary format along with charts, bar or pie diagrams and able to generate status report for senior and executive management group.Identify risk in process and propose / implement controls.Able to work in Individual contributor role.Create BRD, impact assessments, functional specifications, flow charts, Root cause analysis and other diagnostic documentationsExperience in one or many of these data quality tools and reporting tools/applications; Informatica Analyst Agile(Jira) Proficient in MS Office applications; MS Project, MS VisioResponsible for managing IT projects & project segment by specified objectives and within specified resource.Directly responsible for monitoring the requirements, framework conditions and the progress of short term Projects with limited number of personnel.Coordinate activities including on-time delivery, testing andproduction moves. Generating Reports and Dashboard as per Client Specification.Planning, Monitoring & Documenting Project progress.Coordinating the Software team to update the Reports for data management.Understanding the Client requirement and providing the same to the team.Ensure clients needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.Assist in systems and business process support across multiple client engagements. Responsible for coordinating with Customer and provide real time solutions.Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the Client.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:College degree IN Engineering. Preferably IT or Computer science, computer and information science.Financial Industry/Securities Processing experience is a plusSQL scripting is a plusOptional--Project management experience.Knowledge of multiple Financial Applications.Knowledge of software development project lifecycle.Knowledge of business process reengineering.Knowledge of business modelling concepts.Excellent analytical skills.Key SkillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, time-management skills, knowledge of C#, .Net, Oracle and PL/SQL and Microsoft Office;
