Job Description

    Indias Leading Bank is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Retail Banking department.In this crucial role, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, fostering deeper relationships with existing customers, and achieving ambitious sales targets for a wide range of retail banking products.Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the banks customer base within the assigned territory
    • Identify and target potential retail clients, leveraging a combination of digital and traditional outreach methods
    • Build relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their financial needs and recommending suitable banking solutions
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets for a variety of retail banking products, including savings accounts, current accounts, credit cards, loans, and wealth management solutions
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the benefits and features of each offering
    • Cross-sell and upsell existing customers on additional products and services, fostering long-term and profitable relationships
    • Collaborate effectively with branch staff and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
    • Maintain accurate sales records and reports, adhering to all regulatory compliance requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the banking, Insurance, Financial Services industry
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
    • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
