Job Description

Business Head - Retail Bank (Consumer Finance Business) We have been retained by a foreign bank to identify a Business Head- Retail Bank for their operations in Mumbai. The position is at a Assistant Vice President level and reports to the CEO. JOB PURPOSE: Plan, organizes, direct and control retail banking activities and resources in order to meet retail banking objectives.Assess market conditions, define, recommend, implement and monitor retail banking strategy in order to gain and sustain the banks competitive edge and results.Implement strategies to grow net revenues and endorse cost effectiveness and efficiency.Participate in planning, budgeting and maintaining awareness of economic factors affecting the achievement of established organizational goals.RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive & establish entire retail business portfolio, primarily on the Retail Assets division like Home Loans, Loans against property, Mortgages, Lease Rental Discounting, auto loans, personal loans etc.Responsible for P&L, productivity, financial planning and analysis, monitoring competitor s activities, ensuring compliance with the product policies and pricing, tracking costs, ensuring cost control and reduction.Responsible for increasing the direct business, Portfolio management & Retention Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the strategies, policies, objectives and activities of the business to ensure continuing operations.Responsible for increasing the market share of the business by introducing new product, channels and improving on existing policies.Responsible for Business Development & Promotional activities, Profitability & Productivity, Sales & Marketing, Recruitment, Training & Collections.Using Analytics and IT Team to ring fencing existing customer through Innovative approach to increase direct business. Direct the development and launch of new revenue generating products and services.Research and write analysis and proposals as needed to assist in determining and meeting the long and short- term objectives for financial planning and execution.Oversee activity reports to ensure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance, and rectify any deviation.Preparing of detailed reports for committee and board meetings and related regulatory compliance.Enhance Product Development based on the market intelligence to develop cost effective and innovative tech- savvy banking products, towards Identify customer needs, and initiate action and follow up plan in order to meet customer expectations.Enable business growth by developing and managing a network of distributors (DSA and Referral) across assigned territories.DESIRED SKILLS : Good leadership skills.Well- developed interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical skills.Visible Leadership skills can motivate others to achieve.Good Verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organization skills, able to prioritize.Strong working knowledge of RBI regulations.Good knowledge of latest government regulations.Strong demonstrated ability of building quality teams from scratch.CANDIDATE PROFILE: Candidates should be Chartered Accountants or MBAs with approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in a bank.Interested candidates meeting with the above requirement should send their resumes to cspl@csplsearch.com in word format only.,
