Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesPrimary job responsibilitiesResolve complex issues, analyze situations and data that require a detailed evaluation ofvariable factorsExercise good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteriaDetermine methods and procedures for new assignments and provide guidance to otherassociatesUnderstand business process and resolve issues to satisfy customer needsPerform setups of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials softwareDefine new business requirements and provide gap analyses.Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports, andconversions (MD50s and TE40s) and for the quality assurance (QA)Should have technical knowledge and should be able to use SQLdeveloper.Support production, monitor, troubleshoot, and initiate and monitor system processesInitiate and follow through on Oracle service requestsComplete application setups to support Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), conversions,and interface extension testingDevelop and deliver end user trainingRequired skills8+ years of work experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules and broadexperience implementing them globally, experience with the R12 version and the abilityto configure it optimally is a big plusExperience working with and understanding of complex financial integrations likebanking, treasury, and reporting in U.S. GAAP and other regions like Latin America(LATAM,) Asia Pacific (APAC), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)Relevant experience and understanding of R12 SLA (sub-ledger accounting) accountingKnowledge of Oracle E-Business Financials Suite modules such as AP, AR, GL, E-Business Tax , FA, PO, iExpense, iProcurement, PA, OTL and knowledge of supportingmodules is a plus.Working knowledge of the underlying data model in Oracle software to support analysisand issue resolutionExperience with similar tools like SAP BusinessObjects (BO), Reports Wand/Noetix orother reporting toolsAbility to work with technical team and understand and communicate technicalrequirementsAbility to manage a cross-functional team consisting of technical and non-technicalassociates working in different timezonesSolid communication skillsSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsMotivated and customer-focused
