    Job Code : JN/44874/2013 Contact Person : Sharmila.M Industry type : Shipping/ Marine Position : Business Travel Consultant Status : active Response Ph/Mob : 44 hidden_mobile9 Response Email 1 : Date : 11-Aug-2018 End Date : 11-Sep-2018 CTC Range : 4.5 LPA Posted by : sharmila Email : Job description : Key Responsibilities Responsible for co-ordinating and booking all travel reservations for all level of personnel and management business travel as appropriate Responsible for arranging all business travel, car and hotel reservations / itineraries for marine and business travellers Ensure all business travel arrangements meet customer requirements Liaise with IMTG, airlines and the Focus Group to ensure the very best cost effective air fares, car hire and hotel reservations are offered and booked accordingly Endeavour to offer alternative airlines and routings which enable client to choose most suitable Dealing with customer queries / complaints as per company procedure Maintain good administrative practices, ensuring that all cancelled or amended bookings are appropriately dealt with and all TOD / MCO / EMD are processed as per company procedure Accuracy and attention to detail when calculating all fares and completing documents Building good relationships with clients via effective communication skills Gain and develop good general knowledge of client companies and their contract requirements Be familiar with extra Clyde Travel facilities i.e. travel insurance / visa s etc Person Specification Position Business Travel Consultant Skills, Knowledge and Aptitudes Essential Excellent customer service skills dealing with in-bound Client calls Desirable Fully conversant with Galileo preferred. Other CRS experience will be considered or candidate must be willing to train Previous knowledge of calculating Net Fare Overall knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience Essential Working in a busy reservations team environment within the airline or business travel industry Desirable Experience in Business or Marine Travel Qualifications, Education and Training Essential Minimum - Good sound education to standard grade level or equivalent Personal Characteristics Demonstrate interpersonal and team working skills Professional, approachable with an ability to deal with confidential situations and information in a diplomatic and reasonable manner Problem solver and innovative Demonstrate ability to plan, prioritise and manage a complex workload Must have a readiness to adopt a flexible approach to tasks Common sense approach Work effectively under pressure Reliable / adaptable Demonstrate effective listening skills Uploaded Date : 11-Aug-2018,
