Job Description

1-5 years of experience working with catastrophe modelling software, ideally AIR but RMS is also fine. Main skills required:
Familiarity with the input process: geocoding, primary modifiers, and secondary modifiers
Understanding of insurance structures: limits, deductibles, sub-limits, attachment points and conditional terms
Familiarity with databases and SQL, at least on a basic working knowledge
Understanding of analysis settings: warm SST, conditional earthquake catalogue, default unknowns, etc.
In addition, the following skills are not essential but will be advantageous:
Knowledge of reinsurance
Familiarity with model output (ELT from RMS or YELT from AIR) using secondary uncertainty (Beta distribution for RMS and Gamma for AIR)
VaR and TVaR metrics

1-2 years of experience working with catastrophe modelling software, ideally AIR but RMS is also fine.
Background in Mathematics & Statistics
