JOB PROFILE: Deciding the approach strategy for litigations whether to defend or to go to court and reassessing with the progress of the case. Regularly updating oneself on laws and sharing with superiors / stakeholders in the organization. Advising the entire organization on any relevant areas across functions. Working on understanding and assessing the legal framework for mergers and acquisitions. Informing and advising the organization on laws relevant to new strategic areas like home improvement. Advising on IPR laws, ensuring adequate protection for the organization and deal with litigations. Reviewing and fine- tuning legal documents on a regular basis to provide best possible protection for the organization. Advising on litigation faced by the company as well as subsidiaries. Preparing notes and reviews on new and upcoming laws. CANDIDATE PROFILE: Qualification: Graduation in law with 12- 15 years of experience. Experience: Preferably in manufacturing set- up and having practiced in courts. Domain knowledge of corporate / civil / criminal laws and court procedures in India, both for civil and criminal courts at various levels. Thorough knowledge of IPR laws and working knowledge of taxation laws. Knowledge of M&A laws across the world, as well as the home improvement sector is desirable. ,
