Credit Analyst - InvestmentRoles and Responsibilities:Looking for Senior Credit analyst for the fund management team of Max Life Insurance that manages AUM of over Rs 65,000 cr and credit portfolio of close to Rs 15,000 crores.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Overall responsibility for managing credit risk of the fixed income portfolio including Corporate bonds with credit rating universe ranging from A to AAA, Statement development Loans, Special purpose vehicles, Infrastructure investment trusts (INVIT), Alternative investment fund etc.Individuals that have passion for fundamental research, understanding business models and having strong background for financial statement analysisCredit evaluation of new and active monitoring of existing exposures. In addition, to expand existing credit base to achieve objective of diversification.The person to have prior experience in handling large credit book from Mutual funds, Banks, top credit rating agencies and insurance companies. Handling of structured credit would be an added advantage.Tracking macro-economic data and events. Analysis of credit portfolio and market data on regular basis.Research and maintain database of economic market data/metricsAssist in the creation of white papers and other collateral to support Board/ICMEASURES OF SUCCESS:* Performance of credit portfolio, new credit additions* Active coverage of credit companies and reporting* Timely analysis and reportingMINIMUM EDUCATION:CA or MBA (Finance) from reputed B-School.MINIMUM/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:5+ year experience in management of assets in Fund Houses/Insurance co./Banks.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:* Good understanding of Credit markets* Strong customer relationship building skills and Presentation skills* Good communication, interpersonal skills* Highly motivated and high energy personalityRegards Team HR
