CHIEF MARKETING OFFICERALLENDEVAUX & COMPANY is hiring a chief marketing officer to build a marketing team from the ground up. You will be responsible to bring individuals together to drive strategy, conduct marketing research, execute marketing campaigns, produce high quality content, manage the website, create sales materials, and grow the pipeline.The right person is able to own all areas of B2B marketing and has a track record of success. You will help the company achieve its objectives in terms of revenue and customer acquisition. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal and external business stakeholders.The companys customer-base is primarily located in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and secondarily in the United States. Whilst the opportunity for growth is global and encouraged, the focus is to expand customers in the EU, UK and USA; it is also to establish a presence in India and the Middle East, both newer markets for the company.The position will report directly to a highly technical, service focused chief executive officer.Work Location

Due to the pandemic, the offices have been closed. This is a remote role supported by daily meeting participation over videoconference, but the office locations will be re-opening in Mumbai near Mumbai University. Until the offices re-open, candidates must have a reliable Internet connection and an office from which to attend video meetings with customers and colleagues.Compensation Package and DetailsThis opportunity pays an annual salary of exactly 24,00,000 for the qualified candidate; salary payments are monthly. Do not apply if this salary is unacceptable. Signing bonus: 1,00,000 at time of contract signatory. Paid-time-off (PTO) is four weeks and can be spent for any purpose such as national or religious holidays, vacation, sick leave, etc. Bonus payments may be made based on new business being generated from marketing efforts that fill the pipeline and result in revenue booked by the sales department.This position is a fulltime consultative role, meaning the candidate is responsible for local, state and national tax payments and filings. The candidate for this job may need to hold hours compatible with the United Kingdom when interacting with other senior management, as the companys leadership is located in that region.Job ResponsibilitiesWill have the following duties and responsibilities in this role:
• Establish a marketing department with the right roles to accomplish the companys objectives.
• Develop the companys global marketing strategy and direct the execution of various marketing activities.
• Polish brand identity and awareness.
• Conduct market research to make better decisions.
• Execute online and offline marketing campaigns customized to grow the pipeline with high-quality leads.
• Plan, organize and execute various marketing events such as prospecting and customer events, conferences, exhibitions.
• Produce high-quality content for customers such as market surveys, webinars, whitepaper, case studies, blogs, videos, etc.
• Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, assessing them against goals (ROI, KPIs) and adjust strategy & activities to achieve them.
• Provide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, test and learn approach to new initiatives.
• Take ownership of the social media websites.
• Oversee graphic design and content creation; generate sales materials such as brochures and PowerPoint presentations.
Competency
• A track record of clear success leading a marketing department that delivered distinctive growth performance.
• Expertise in B2B marketing strategies, campaigns and activities.
• Experience working in cybersecurity and data protection is helpful, but not mandatory.
• Must be able to write concise business documents.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Must possess very strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education/Training/Certifications
• At least 7 years of experience in the field.
• Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field (masters degree preferable but not mandatory).
