Job Description

The Role ResponsibilitiesCOO- Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute customer service process and delivery
  • Define, agree, execute, and consistently report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with SCB and external operations suppliers
  • Define best practice and standardization across the Operations Department
  • Define outsourcing requirements
  • Work with the CEO and stakeholders to develop and execute new products for SCILL
  • Define and manage operational risk
  • Setting up the entire operations architecture, including branch level and central processes across SCILL
  • Manage SCILL system and other systems used for its day to day operations (including the development and maintenance of systems as needed)
  • Manage the IT infrastructure for SCILL
  • Maintain the data integrity and customer data privacy at all times
  • Manage disaster recovery for SCILL
  • Support the business with IT and operations solutions as required
  • Manage the P&L for the Operations Department
  • Define strategic projects proposals for the Operations Department
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and terminate (where necessary) staff in the Operations Department
CFO Roles & Responsibilities
  • Ensure SCILLs accounts are accurate and meet regulatory and legal requirements including regulatory reporting.
  • Issue annual and quarterly financial reports for SCILL
  • Ensure strong compliance disciplines are in place across finance functions
  • Manage financial performance MIS to support performance culture
  • Work with the CEO to manage the treasury function for SCILL
  • Manage SCILLs funding requirements and economic and regulatory capital
  • Manage the Asset and Liabilities of SCILL and monitor the performance of SCILLs balance sheet
  • Allocate and track the performance of strategic project investment funds
  • Constructively challenge business cases and plans from all other departments whilst identifying obstacles and opportunities
  • Manage the treasury product offering for customers and support sales
  • Define the accounting standards for SCILL, in line with regulation
  • Manage costs and budget of the Finance Department
  • Oversee the secretarial roles and responsibilities and ensure adequate compliance with all applicable regulations and policies pertaining to corporate governance
  • Recruit and develop staff in the Finance department
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, agencies and regulators
Other Responsibilities
  • Supporting SCILL CEO in business decisions to drive business deliverables
  • Introducing and implementing best practices, increasing quality of support services
  • Ensuring effective and efficient processing within TAT as per service expectations
  • Interacting closely with Credit/Sales/IT/Product and other stakeholders and aligning deliveries
  • Working closely with technology team to drive efficiency and building consistency in processes
  • Managing critical project for implementation of LOS/LMS, other technology enablement for the operating model of the NBFC
  • Reviewing and approving additional processes and any deviations, managing process documentation
  • Adherence with SCB group policies on Conduct and others (HR to input)
