Job Description

    • Bachelor s degree required (business discipline preferred)
    • Minimum experience 7-8 years in Financial Services industry, preferably in custody asset servicing & fund services, markets or prime brokerage, securities lending space
    • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel (lookups, etc.), and Outlook
    Job DescriptionJ.P. Morgan Custody provides Institutional investors access to markets worldwide for the settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, along with ancillary services such as Foreign Exchange and Liquidity Solutions.Asset Servicing roles are responsible for managing all corporate- and income-related events across all asset classes for collections, announcement capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion and payment processing, claims management, Nostro resolution, tax reclamation, proxy voting services, capital calls, distribution, and class actions.Position ResponsibilitiesManage client queries raised on back of COAC and Income events
    • This may include diagnosing problems and providing operational or technical resolution within defined and limited autonomy
    • Generally involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, income, or taxes, and resolving queries across multiple corporate- and income-related event
    • Requires understanding of asset servicing lifecycle
    • Serves as point of contact for internal communication with Client Service and Operations
    • Flexible with extended hours as per business requirements to meet client expectations
    • Ability to work under pressure and in different shifts
    • Manage complex cases and ensure great turnaround
    • Good to work for extended hours during high volumes and manage deadline driven activities
    Core Abilities
    • Excellent prior asset servicing services, securities lending or prime brokerage operational experience
    • Ability to work closely with business partners and interact with all staff levels
    • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
    • Experience of working on multi-stream programs
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
    • Self-starter and ability to learn quickly
    • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments
    • Proactive in identifying and escalating issues
