Job Description

The GFICMO in Mumbai has close to 40 employees managing various operational functions such Trade Management, Regulatory Reporting, Control and Risk Management, Client Services, Interest Claims, Max Recovery. Key Products supported are Bonds and Repo.The Mumbai Team executes multiple functions across regions as below Trade support & Sales support Middle Office Asia:

  • Ability to effective engage with front office to ensure smooth Client trade life cycle processing
  • Investigate Risk Management systems for economic breaks and appropriately address
  • Expertise in processing on Trade reconciliations Demonstrate risk mindset to identify and resolve breaks on priority
  • Demonstrate strong eye for detail- define the issue- partner with stakeholders/tech to resolve
  • End to end Client Trade Life cycle management from block account booking to settlement
  • Expertise in trade allocations, prematching, fails management etc
  • Strong multi tasking skills with live Client/ Trader/ Sales interactions
  • Resolution of Client Trade settlement issues: Ensure accurate settlement instruction setups, partner with various settlement teams and and ensure timely settlement.
  • Interact with brokers/ custodians / middle offices to identify issues, challenges, disputes and take appropriate and corrective action to resolve trade risk
  • Analyze trends and partner across teams to address issues and enhance trade STP
  • Effectively engage with various internal teams across locations for resolution of issues, working collectively on process improvement initiatives etc.
  • Participate and Contribute in tech projects including UAT s and new idea generation
  • Effectively execute internal reports to Sr. management
