Brief Background: GSM Trade Escalation Team supports Trade business round the clock (on week days) and weekends for Weekend working countries. The objective of the team is to review the potential suspects and matches to decide to Pass/Stop or Escalate the transaction (as appropriate) as per the JP Morgan s sanction screening policy as well as policies laid down by various regulatory bodies such as OFAC, EURO, UN, Regional applicable regulations etc. Report the Reject/Block transactions to the Regulatory authorities and other recurring MIS.Responsibilities:To review the transactions as first check or second check as applicable to identify potential matches and Pass or Stop or Escalate transaction/s to the corporate compliance or appropriate team. Post investigation or receipt of compliance guidance action the transaction as per the appropriate decisions to be applied to the respective transaction/s.Accountable the service quality of GSM Trade Escalation Team and ensuring that the sanction screening procedures are adhered and related activities completed in timely manner.Be the team player to provide top quality processing and with nil errors.Recurring investigation and escalation as per BAU for any issues to the appropriate team.Reporting:Reporting to : Team ManagerKnowledge and Skills SetsGraduate in any discipline
