Generico is the fastest growing retail chain of Generic medicines. A venture by IIT Bombay alumni, and already funded by a VC fund, Generico aims at making healthcare affordable for millions of Indians. It provides the biggest portfolio of generic medicines from the reputed pharma companies, at prices up to 80% lower than those of branded medicines. A differentiated retail business with a focus on consultative selling to enhance value for customers. With 8 stores currently operational in Mumbai, the target is to reach 100 stores in the next one year, and eventually be among the largest pharmacy retail businesses in the country.Job Description The Role:The City Manager will be a Business Head for a region, managing upto 50 stores, and reporting directly to the Founders. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up new stores, managing the entire P&L, with a strong focus on driving sales and optimizing operations. (S) he will have a team of Unit Managers and Store managers reporting to them, and work closely with the founders to drive business objectives.Key Responsibilities: Manage end- to- end a region comprising of about 50 stores, from set- up to operations and sales, with overall P&L responsibilityWork with founders and business development team to identify and set up new stores at rapid pace in strategic locationsSet up and manage distributor and supplier relationships for the regionRecruit individual unit managers and store managers for the stores within the regionDrive sales targets for each store within the region, meeting individual and collective business targets of Sales, Profitability and Brand awarenessOptimize and manage operations at Distribution Centers to ensure service levels and maintain supply chain efficiency and meet operational working capital cycle targetsManage team of Unit Managers, Store Managers, Business Development and operational staff to deliver the overall business objectivesManaging and controlling complainces of the pharmacy business in the region, including liaising with local authorities and creating alliances with local customer bodiesControls and Audit process for Pilferages at the StoresDesired Skills and Expertise: 10+ year experience as a regional sales / operations manager in a retail / fmcg businessExperience of building and managing large and diverse teamsStrong flexibility and problem- solving skills, with independent ownership and result orientationAbility to multi- task in a fast- paced environment to plan and manage a variety of projectsCommercial insight and understandingAbility to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environmentQualifications : Degree in Engineering from premier institute or MBA from Tier 1 / 2 B SchoolExperience : 10+ year experience in Sales & Operations, having managed large business verticals independentlySkills : Leadership, team management, sales, operations, analyticsCompany Profile: This section shall be updated later. for now this is being left blank.Already registered with us Dont have profile with us Drop Your CV We will consider your Profile for future Jobs,
