To handle statutory and regulatory compliance for Jio and group companies through proper and timely adherence to identified disclosure requirements. The role guide company management about the day-to-day update of the organisations, including compliance with legal and statutory requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES: Report to the Company Secretary - Jio and regularly liaise with group companies board membersOrganise and prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and annual general meetings (AGMs)Take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns with Companies HouseFollow up on actions from meetingsOversee policies, making sure they are kept up to date and referred to the appropriate committee for approvalMaintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors and KMPsDeal with correspondence, collate information and write reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholdersContribute to meeting discussions as and when required, and advise members of the legal, governance, accounting and tax departments of the implications of proposed policiesMonitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate actionLiaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditorsOversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirementsCompliance with stock exchange and SEBI regularizationsSpecial company secretarial assignments as and when requiredREQUIREMENTS: 12-14 years of experienceACS/ FCSAdditional qualification on Legal / Finance would be an added advantage.
