Job Description

    Job descriptionCopy WriterResponsibilities and Duties:- Discussing the clients core message and target audience- Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team- Writing for both print and digital media- Build a following for brand(s) on social media with creative work- Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original- Write & schedule a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, etc.)- Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers- Create a content calendar as per the strategy- Promote content on social media- Identify customers- needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)Qualifications and Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent grasp of English language- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently- Self-motivated and self-directed- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelors degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred- Prior experience in writing- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management- Able to work in a fast-paced environment- Strict adherence to company policies and style- The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver- A grammar fanaticFor the copywriter, I am primarily looking for the following (in addition to the JD):- A very good score in academics (especially English)- Doesnt look like a job skipper- Have experience in content writing for social media, web/blogs- Well versed will social media- Great attitude, integrity, flowing with passion (will be assessed during the interview)- Desire to win Bookaholic- Interest in art, films are an added advantage- Understands social media analytics
