Job Description

Part of the Sourcing and Procurement organization within GSS, the Expense team sits within Expense & Approvals. The Expense team seeks to promote transparency, inclusiveness, and best practices across our process and policies. The Expense team s mission is to support and work with the Lines of Businesses on a consensus approach to Travel & Entertainment, so managers have proper oversight of expenses within their organization and employees have a seamless expense reimbursement experience. The Expense Business team provides controlled, effective and efficient services to improve clarity and overall understanding of Travel & Entertainment.Position Summary:The Expense Business & Ops Manager Associate will deploy and use best-in-class reporting and analytics practices to assess, build, monitor, and optimize the approval experience for stakeholders, customers, and leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Expense products and policies for Concur and firm-built applications.
  • Develop and document business requirements, processes and procedures, and controls.
  • Support Expense teams with strategic enhancements, audit requests, regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate issues and resolutions to GSS management and stakeholders.
  • Support Product and Technology Owners with project management - acquisitions, projects, Legal Entity Mergers, system upgrades.
  • Manage vendor relationship in partnership with Product and Technology Owners.
  • Create and manage executive-level presentations and dashboards.
  • Establish reporting used to support operations and stakeholders.
  • Define, design and build KPIs including flash reports and management scorecards, etc. as part of building the Expense brand.
  • Perform analytics and use data to solve queries, develop benchmarks and propose best practice solutions, address customer and team requirements.
  • Review data proactively to identify potential enhancement opportunities, trends/risks and expense reduction initiatives.
  • Identify critical insights and analysis and present recommendations with plans and how to implement and execute.
  • Defines objective milestones and measures progress against them.
  • Develop and maintain automated queries or processes to efficiently extract and report data.
  • Collaborate with other JPMC reporting and analytics teams to deploy best in class reporting and analytics practices
Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years experience, Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, finance, business analysis and reporting experience or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable Operations
  • Working knowledge of SAP Concur are preferred; configuration knowledge is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Corporate Card and/or Purchasing Card program management including provider reconciliation tools, developing and proving user training, and contract management.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel with strong experience in creating analytical reports as well as using complex formulas and macros
  • Highly skilled in PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to identify data trends and build reporting that solves problems within large data sets
  • Ability to identify cause/effect relationships
  • Be able to concatenate, isolate, combine or normalize large data sets
  • Synthesize and analyze information to develop actionable recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Analytical & investigative mindset to research and resolve issues with data
  • Ability to develop, analyze, & report at various levels of seniority - from standard to executive
  • Solid listening, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Familiar with project management, requirements gathering.
  • Experience in Data Management, Data Modelling, Data Strategy or Big Data a plus
  • Experience leveraging Visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlikview) a plus
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and specific experience with Machine Learning a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment supporting multiple initiatives
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
  • Ability to work EST (New York) business hours
