  • Awareness and understanding of the Group s business strategy and execute appropriate to the role.
Business
  • Junior Salesperson in FM Corporate Sales Content Team that covers a variety of corporate clients primarily in the CTA / ENT space. The key responsibility is to cover these clients across Rates, FX and Commodity products, and to support / learn from the seniors sales team. As part of development and growth, the Junior Salesperson will be required to work on specific projects on product innovation, improving productivity, and quality of analysis.
Processes
  • Dealing with Corporate Clients particularly in the CTA / ENR client segment to deliver CI and FC across Rates, FX and Commodities.
  • Be responsible for day to day client activity: i.e. analysis and making pitchbooks / sending research / client deal confirmations / coordinating client events
  • Be responsible for day to day desk admin work: monthly revenue reports, MIS etc
  • To monitor market trends with the objective of creating new trade ideas and distributing products/solutions to clients.
  • To work with other Business Units in order to cross sell SCBs products & services.
  • To maintain frequent and high-quality dialogue with other areas of Financial Markets.
  • To provide product training to internal/external clients as necessary
  • Work on a project with time-bound objectives and deliverables
People and Talent
  • To be a team player as part of the FM Corporate Sales Content Team. The role has potential to develop and grow to Senior Sales role covering Content Clients in FX, Rates and Commodities

  • Adherence to all aspects of risk e.g. Credit, Market, Operational, Regulatory and Compliance that is applicable to the role

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

  • 2+years experience and Self-motivated:
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and the desire to advance into a Senior Sales position.
  • Collaborative attitude, appreciating importance of teamwork.
  • Prior experience within high pressure, targets and results orientated roles is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of derivatives and pricing
