Job Description

    This role is for an experienced Java Back End Engineer to join the Credit Risk IT group.You will be working within the Credit Risk IT department and working closely with colleagues in London, Switzerland, India and US including T shaped engineersYour teambe a part of a scrum team working on delivering Front to Back solutions which is used by Risk Officers for daily monitoring. write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools. participate in the design and implementation of new system layers utilizing a first-principles understanding of high complexity compute environments. strong problem solving skills and get things done, The successful candidate will be educated to Degree-level and have 10 years+ experience with strong logical, analytical and problem-solving skills tremendous experience in system design, strong hold on design principles and commonly used patterns capability to evalutate appropriate usage of technology based on use cases. strong hold on OOPs and Functional programming conceptsBackend development strong Java 8 must have experience with Test driven development and Behaviour driven development with standard Unit testing /component Testing using frameworks like Junit5, Mockito, Spring Testing, cucumber, selenium etc. strong experience on Oracle SQL and PLSQL used to Agile ways of working strong experience in build tools like Maven and corresponding plugins and CICD pipeline creation/modification using GitlabGood to have hands on experience with Azure cloud services like, AppInsight, Azure Blob Storage. Knowledge on Databricks, Apache Spark knowledge on Credit Risk domain hands on experience with handling system integrations good to have experience on Kubernetes, Terraforms good to have azure infrastructure configuring experience hands on experience on various static code quality analysing tools know-how of Scala, PythonBehavioural aspects must have open to learn flexible to accept project challenges irrespective of technology. good team player
