Job Description

    Job Purpose:The Administrator will be responsible for CSBs Network & Security Infra. Manage data center Firewalls, IPS, WAF, routers, switches, & load balancers. To do regular daily activities device patching, hardening, mitigate vulnerabilities identified in VAPT.Functional Responsibilities:Network & Security Administrating network & security devices like firewalls, IPS, WAF, routers, switches, load balancers, cisco ACI infra & SDWAN devices. Manage firewalls and network security systems by establishing and enforcing approved policies. Develop, execute, and measure processes to ensure secure network design. Examples include review of high-risk firewall rules against developed standards and the establishment of IDS/IPS policy lifecycle activities. Analyze network security requirements and implement perimeter security changes. Utilizing industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change control, configure, manage and troubleshoot a variety of network and security technologies. Support the Security Operations Center from a network security perspective during incident response events. Planning network and security infrastructure for new applications and services. Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant. Review daily logs for managed systems and report on unusual activity. Participate in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with managed systems and applications. Work closely with department managers to determine future network needs and plan for network changes. Create projects that are designed to either add functionality required by the company or to address ongoing network failure issues. Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network related issues. Coordinates with third party vendors for various network services. Review and act upon automated device and system alerts in a timely manner. Analyze the current network structure and submit quarterly comprehensive reports to execute team on how to make the network more efficient. Analyze and monitor device security and implement patches and fixes to address potentials security holes. Development and implementation of daily/weekly/monthly check lists. License Management Tracking licenses to stay complaint for internal and external operations. Managing the managed services team on daily basis and conducting the periodical review meeting with project manager to discuss on project progress. Monitoring the network devices using NMS tool and maintain the maximum network up time. Track devices end of life and specifies replacements when needed. Perform regular inventories of existing network equipment & reports any discrepancy to Chief Manager.Competencies required for role:Minimum 5 years of experience in Network & Security.
