Principal Duties/Responsibilities Analyze, contain and respond to incoming privacy security incidents/events Lead triage with business stakeholders to analyze severity and impact of privacy and security incidents Conduct detailed investigations to include intake, prioritization & documentation of privacy & security incidents Lead an organized response to privacy and security incidents with business, IT, Legal & other cross functional teams until closure Document & maintain privacy and security incident reports for internal compliance Knowledge and experience in privacy related laws, eg: GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA Develop, review and enhancement of incident response process Analytical skills to analyze incidents information and determine critical path to resolve them Strong people skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal business partners Ability to handle multiple high priority items & reprioritize at a moment s notice Possess excellent written & oral communication skills Provide effective and response and investigations to all security incidents in support of business goals 24/7 Data Disclosure function Shift Patterns Communications and Relationships Internal: With the CISO, IT Security Directors and security team; Information Security Programme Manager and project managers, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Audit, IT, Procurement and other support functions as well as operational management and client-facing teams. Hold and maintain appropriate Information Security professional qualifications, such as CISSP or CISM, technical security and technology such as EnCE, OSCP, CEH or GIAC. The role holder will be able to demonstrate a commitment to security and strong environmental awareness through continued professional development and learning. The role holder will be expected to demonstrate competence and credibility through qualifications or equivalent experience in relevant areas such as project management and business processes (e.g. Prince2, ITIL), Data Protection and legal / regulatory aspects of security, security incident management, or technical IT security (e.g. vendor certifications, CompTIA, GIAC). Skills Proven information security competency Proven experience in a mature Security Operations function, having been or come through as a Security Analyst working on security incident investigations and response Proven experience working with privacy related laws, eg: GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA , *Graduation
