Are you passionate about the financial markets Are you an innovator who loves to solve problems We are looking for someone to use their expertise and join UBS team in Mumbai - strong understanding of Instrument Data Management or Reference Data Management including Static Data and Pricing Data- understanding of operational procedures around data control, cross verification of data, cleansing, consolidation and golden copy creation.- execute daily processes to fulfill data production and maintenance- have experience in conducting a regular sampling of data across Reference data, Pricing & Corporate Actions perform price analysis and validation on a daily / weekly / monthly basis to ensure that securities are accurately updated- perform, assess and own the key process controls- work closely with data vendors both offshore and onshore.- support internal and external audits- identify new workforce optimization opportunities and deliver process improvements that increases the efficiency of data production - provide metrics that are used by the Data Producer Service Delivery Manager to represent the service to the Data Owner and Service Owner- Supports / execute change activity where required and requested- ensure standard operating procedures are executed accurately- new workforce and data quality improvement ideas / execution- timely and effective query resolutionYour teamA role exists within the Shared Services- Global Reference Data Operations Organization. This role will be part of Central Supervisory Team, primarily responsible to carry out Independent Supervisory Sampling & Testing of the output from our Vendor staff and to further strengthen our Operational Risk Framework., At least 4-6 years of experience in financial service industry and specifically in Instrument data management process gained by hands on experience. Either in a investment bank or a related service provider- practical working experience on projects, and able to achieve deliverables while focusing on quality, quantity and timeliness of completion- bachelor s degree in accounting, business, Math s fields would be considered with very strong relevant experience- experience with digital toolsets such as alteryx, robotics is a plus- attention to detail and ability to accurately execute standard operating procedures- understands how reference data impacts downstream functions, processes and the client - curious mindset and experience of self-identifying problems and automation opportunities - self-learner who acquires knowledge through experience and exposure that the role provides- takes pride in the outcome and is able to adapt to changes
