Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Leadership and Team Management:
      • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.
      • Provide guidance on data science best practices, model development, and optimization techniques.
      • Manage team performance, including providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
      • Help with the recruitment process to attract top data science talent.
    • Strategic Data Science Leadership:
      • Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and engineers to define data science goals and align them with business objectives.
      • Develop and execute data science strategies that leverage machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics to solve business challenges.
      • Lead the development and implementation of predictive and prescriptive models to optimize business operations.
      • Ensure the delivery of high-impact data science projects on time and within budget.
    • Model Development and Analysis:
      • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms.
      • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.
      • Ensure proper model validation, testing, and maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
      • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to understand data requirements and business needs.
      • Present findings and insights to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations to drive business value.
      • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    • Data Strategy and Governance:
      • Lead the development and implementation of data science processes, methodologies, and frameworks to improve overall data maturity.
      • Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
      • Champion a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization
