About the Company:We process billions of pixels of image data simultaneously from multiple satellites to provide a data cube of the earth. We look at vegetation health, soil moisture, climate impact and human activities on the surface of the earth.Using proprietary petabyte scale deep learning engines we are able to provide high resolution data, everyday, anywhere on the globe.About the Role:Data Scientist is responsible for creating analytical models for crop classifications, farmers risk, yield forecast and many more. The individual will be spending the time either building new models from the scratch, enhancing existing models or maintaining existing models.The individual maintains server- based scripts, databases and images, and will work in close relationship with cross functional teams and clients.Key tasksApply crop modelling scripts and analyse the outcomesDownload and analyse remote sensing imagery.Keep updated on new methods for the processing of optical imagery and new deep learning techniques used in remote sensing.Support and come up with initiatives for quality improvement and service development.Collaborate and discuss processed data and outcomes with clients.Working Days : 5 Days a Week (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)Job Nature : Full Time
