- Familiar working with Teradata and many other technologies for developing data models and interfaces to fulfil the goals outlined above.- Comfortable working with big data and multiple different technologies to achieve the required flow of information and production of critical reports.- Able to work effectively with remote teams as the role will require constant communication with the global development teams across New York, London, Montreal, Budapest and Mumbai.- Day to day the work will be modelling of databases objects and processes as well as contributing to the design and architecture of the overall system.- Candidate must have sound knowledge about Teradata functionality, Desired Skills:- Familiar working with Teradata and many other technologies for developing data models and interfaces to fulfil the goals outlined above.- Workload management, Query Banding in Teradata or related skills on other db platforms.- Working knowledge of Perl and Linux- Added knowledge of Java will be huge plus.- Should be able to write generic SQLs in Teradata/DB2/Sybase and.- Will work supporting Development teams for code deployment and etc.- Should be able work in multiple shifts and ready for flexible working hours.
