A delivery managers responsibilities include channelizing the delivery executives and runners to ensure that the delivery takes place when it is meant to. Delivery route management is also an important part of his skill set to make sure that the best route is taken, time is saved and the delivery is on- time. We dont expect him to work as our own personal Google Maps (it is a tempting idea, though) but he should be experienced to handle a team and in channelizing the resources for an optimum performance.
