Job Description

Position Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manager- Body PU (Stores) Business Unit/Division Automotive Division Kandivli Reports To DGM, Body PU Place of Posting Kandivli Purpose/ ObjectiveManage stores - Labor handling, item location planning, receiving, storage, inventory etc.Stores Objective - Ensure material on location immediately after receipt/inspection, Traceability system, Optimum utilization of space, Systematic storage of Recycling packaging material, maintain FIFO, shelf life items. Identify non-moving material. Maintaining monthly record of block stock ageing, Goods in transit.Delieverables/ KRAs of the role holderDevise and faciliate systematic changes at Gemba by improvement in process, material handling equipment and packagingImprovement in output per person.Receiving Process - Daily report of receipts, GRN pending, Receipt audit, parts pending for inspection, Ensure TAT in a specified limit and zero detention.Internal & external dispatches - Issue of right quality & quantity of material as per pull. Ensure external dispatches like IUTN, Spares, Rejection, Vendor aid material as per requirement and update the system stock. Keep records of delivery adherence.Daily/Weekly / monthly MIS preparation through SAP & excel for shortages, excesses and variance, Dispatch schedule adherence, COPQ monitoring points.Ensure 100% production & dispatch Schedule Adherence as per DBM & Spare Parts schedule.Responsibilities/ Major Tasks/ Major Activities of the role holder Coordinate with Mfg., Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D & Component Development teams / other Plants / other Product Units to achieve given targets.

  • Monitor and control targeted inventory levels.
  • Monitor stores obsolescence.
  • Packaging & Logistics cost improvement
  • Paint Godown & gas storage shelf monitoring, daily receipt & issuance to shop.
  • In house tool manufacturing, maintenance, development and testing activities to maximize productivity and maintain the highest levels of workmanship for all tooling activities.
  • Maintaining minimum and maximum inventory of all tooling, FOS, and material issuance to shop as per the requirement.
  • Responsible for the indirect inventory.

Experience 2-4 Years Of experience Industry Preferred Engineering Qualification Diploma/Degree in any branch of Engineering Functional Competencies Detail knowledge of perpetual and annual inventory process / command in stock variance analysis. [SAP MM Module] To ensure stock accuracy. Good analytical acumen Knowledge of MOST. Knowledge of systems - TPM,AFS excellence, MQS Knowledge of Store Functions and basic producton planning Knowledge of budgeting Knowledge & Skills for implementation of Kobetsu Kaizen
