Job Description

Our client is engaged in heavy fabrication produces equipment as under : , process equipment,skid packages,heat exchangers,pressure vessels,Cross country pipe lineprojects- -across indiaexporting to various countries.They have an urgent opening as under : Designation : Design & Estimation EngineerReporting to : Design Headlocation : Mumbai - Central suburb.Experience 5-7 years in designing of similar equipmentsCTC : No bar for the right candidate.Education : degree/ diploma in mechanical engineering. roles & responsibilities:

  • The detail engineering activities includes engineering documentation Control. Equipment and and allied components sizing calculation
  • Checking and approval of GA drawing of package and Detail fabrication drawings of process equipment, Structural supports.
  • Preparation of Technical datasheets of major items. To help sale department in cost estimation related technical queries.
  • Prepare design calculation of Static Process Equipment Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Storage Tanks, Columns, Heat Exchangers and other static process equipment.
  • Drawing ,Checking GA and fabrication drawing.
  • Co-ordinate with the entire department & solve the technical / commercial problems raised during the execution of project.
  • Reviewing of UDS (Users Design Specification) and design of Pressure vessels by using PV-Elite.
  • Preparation of MDR (Manufacturers Data Report) as per the requirements of Code.
  • Consolidating & issuing Bill of Material. Preparation of ARM (Additional Requirement for Materials) to meet the Code and Customers specifications.
  • Co-ordination with Instrumentation, Production & Quality departments for resolution of fabrication queries & other problems encountered during fabrication
  • Checking of procurement drawings for nozzles, dishends, forged shells etc. Reviewing of Vendors drawings and issue approval for manufacturing.
  • Preparation of fabrication tolerance requirements to meet Code and Customers specifications.
  • Providing technical support to estimation design team.
