Head of core-design team at site, to ensure that the master plan of the airport under the given scope of work, is finalsed and requisite detailed designs&drawings, meeting DGCA CAR standards are prepared and got appoved from the client. To act as interface officer between the client, DGCA, BCAS, AAI, Airlines, IMD, IOC, and other interfacing agencies and regulatory authorities to ensure that the work is executed in line the design Intent and all regulatory aviation related approvals/complinces are maintained. To co-ordinate with the specialized team,In-house design team to ensure that the detailed working drawings are timely issued so that timely progress of work is maintained. To ensure that the design provide seamless integration of the existing runway facilities to the additional new runway and other associated works. To finalize the work plan so as to ensure that the execution of project work is not hindered as well there is least hindrance to smooth operation of the airport. To approve QAQC plan, method statement, detailed specifications, BOQ for all the major items of the work. To support the Project Director for finalization of procurement vendors and specialized agencies. To support Project Director for seamless planning & execution of work. To act as the Project Director, during absence/leave period of Project Director. To approve testing and commissioning procedures for all equipment and permanent works. To analyse the risk involved with the methods of construction. To support the tendering team for new business-proposals related to airport development. ,
