Achieving the weekly production plan 2. Reduction in cycle time 3. Meeting the quality requirements 4. Cost control 5. Housekeeping, 5S safety training Job DescriptionThis position will head the Rubber Composite Department of Aerospace Division and the incumbent will be shouldering complete responsibility of : 1. Meeting the production schedule, quality requirement of the customers and reducing the cost. Reduction in cycle time by 30% 2. Responsible for turnover of Rs.5 Cr minimum and will lead a team of about 15 engg operators 3. Execution planning of composite raw material fabrication process 4. Design development of tools, jigs fixture in rubber composites 5. Facilitate Productivity improvement, failure analysis, multiskilling of operators and optimum use of resources 6. Lead, guide, train sensitize subordinates/ operators in respect of functional/ quality requirements 7. Evolve sustain FIRST TIME RIGHT Production Concept 8. Approval of facilities to AS 9100, NAD CAP customer specific approvals and Coordinate with technology transfer lab/ organization 9. Understand meet technology requirement of customer 10. Liaison with HO for procurement, billing, order execution 11. Liaison with partner labs/ organization 12. Maintaining the shop floor discipline safe work environment 13. Adhere to AS9100, NADCAP, ISO, OHSAS 14. Use of TOC, TPM, Six Sigma, SPC Targeted business: - 1. Missile motar casings 2. Aircraft engines components Assemblies in ceramic high temp composites 3. Rubber moulding, O Rings, gaskets, bellows for aerospace 4. High temp composites rubber for missiles, UAVs 5. 1st year NBV = 5 Crs, 2nd year = 8 Crs, 3rd Year = 15 Crs 6. Export opportunities shall be main focus. Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Aeronautical engineering or in Rubber Technology Preferred Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Aeronautical engineering or in Rubber Technology with Non Destructive Testing qualification in Composites Experience Details Essential Experience: Degree holder with Minimum of 10 years experience and Diploma holder with Minimum of 12 years of experience Preferred Experience: Relevant experience in Aerospace industry Special Skill Essential : Behavioural Competencies Required: 1.
