The Digital Solutions (Enterprise Technology) team is looking for a fulltime User Experience Designer.Co-located with one of our product feature teams, you enjoy the idea of being based in Singapore.Each day, youll be helping us understand, define, design, solution, integrate, test, deploy and improve the best parts of our home-grown digital ecosystem to delight our human or robot consumers.Youre going to help us design and automate fundamental components with the broader bank, using open-source technology as a bias, and integrate them with the first -class development tool chain being delivered by your colleagues as part of the banks transformation to a fully digital-native enterprise. Most importantly youre going to work with our technology and business clients to make sure we dont disappear into an ivory tower and design unusable product through design thinking workshops.The most important characteristic were after is that you are a passionate UX designer that puts the needs of your customer first or however you self-identify your passion for designing experiences that provide real commercial results as well as helping to generate a meaningful and impactful user experience.You dont have to know everything, but you do have to have the potential to learn anything quickly and pragmatically you should know a lot about some (not all) of the following disciplines:DisciplineExamplesWhat does this mean Cross Functional ManagementYou have a proven track record of influencing colleagues in other teams to use a common design language without direct line management responsibilities.You know how to write clear user stories and understand the importance of detailed acceptance criteria because you want to build the best product possible.UI DesignYou are passionate about creating delightful interactions and aesthetics for users of the products you produce. You know how to manipulate spacing, patterns and colour to guide users to using the product, and applying interactions appropriately. You are able to translate wireframes into full fledged design mock ups and prototypes.Passion for Design Systems.UX Design FundamentalsWorkshops, Card-sorting, User Interviews, Research as well as failing fast and adapting.You know the importance of design thinking and how to utilize it successfully in the development of your products.Youre the kind of person that enjoys puzzles, logic problems and gains satisfaction from engaging a wide set of people to solve problems, likes communicating what youve discovered to your colleagues and clients, rather than encrypted acronyms, and working with your colleagues in co-located high-performance teams. • At least 3 years of experience in UX design, animation, and illustration
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication with experience in agile working environments.
• Proficiency in visual and interaction design
• Proficiency in building prototypes and screen flows
• Proficient in creating and documenting animated interactions
• Proven track record of failing fast and adapting.
• Pattern oriented, understands the need for consistent user experience.
• Communicate easily with technical developers.

Highly Desirable

• Undergraduate level qualification with Bachelor in Computer Science and/or Design.
• Breadth of technical knowledge UI design and development, animation, and illustration
