You will play an instrumental role in helping us expand access to our products by working on various innovative business models, helping us reduce the barriers and thus ensure smooth access of essential and innovative medicines for the underserved and marginalized populations across the world. Purpose of this role: Leads the development and implementation of the patient access strategy at (large) country / regional level. To facilitate and achieve optimal Patient Access by building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers at a local level.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Utilizes insights from cross -functional teams and market research to launch, develop and implement high quality Patient Access strategic and operational plans Establishes and maintains a strong professional network within the Federal /Regional and local Government authorities, Healthcare providers, Health Economic organizations and other relevant decision making representatives to anticipate & influence legislative P&R trends. Communicates relevant changes and trends in local health policy environment and Patient Access activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team lead the Delivery and Execution pillar of IAPM, which seeks to improve patient reach in IAPM Direct Markets and to demonstrate efficiency in partnership with markets that deploy IAPM solutions such as Novartis Access 2.0. P&L responsibility for Nepal, Cambodia, and Laos. Delivery support for launch of programs for NAP launched countries: PK, VE, SV, CO, GE, MD. Build a balanced business model that drives increased patient access in markets. Develop a mid and long term strategic business plan, local marketing and sales strategies and execute their fulfilment, demonstrating effectively product portfolio management and global resources across all divisions of Novartis. Translate strategy into short-term action; crafting and proposing accordingly the relevant organization model. Supervise market dynamics and make strategic decisions to address challenges. Handle the P&L including the delivery of top line, bottom line results for these markets. Ensure expense budget is met and maintained within budget parameters. Manage resources and investments efficiently to improve impact and efficiencies of operations, within the code of conduct of the group. Plan revenue growth through marketing strategies, sales management and by growing the spread of the business while maintaining a margin for the business in line with the objectives.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: University degree in Science and/or degree in Business i.e. Marketing/Business Studies; MBA preferred Extensive experience (5-10 years) in sales management positions within the pharmaceutical or consumer industry with proven sales and marketing management abilities Successful record of contribution and/or P&L responsibility, preferably as head of organization Good understanding of country, regional and local dynamics, including regulatory and market environments Understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes Ability to handle diverse cultural context and complex business set up.Why consider Sandoz Our number 1 priority is to pioneer patient access to better healthcare.
