Job Description

    1. Job Description for Electrical Design Engineer/Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
    The candidate should be Graduate/ Postgraduate (Regular only) in Electrical Engineering with 2 -10 years of experience in electrical design and detail engineering (Experience with design engineering company will be preferred)
    • Experience: 2 - 10 years
    • Position: Permanent
    • Pune Location
    He / She should have capability to perform following activities
    • Preparation of Deliverable list & Schedule, Man-hour estimate, Resource Requirement and Progress report
    • Providing input to Project Planning Engineer to prepare Project Schedule
    • Coordination with other departments for input/output data and participation in project management meetings
    • Participating design/ progress review meeting with client
    • Co-ordination with Clients/ sub consultants /contractors
    • Preparation of tender document /technical bid analysis /proposals
    • Preparation of design basis, technical specifications, concept notes, calculation reports etc.
    • Electrical analysis and design of electrical equipment such as Transformer, DG, Cables, Electrical panels, UPS, Lighting, Earthing etc., by using various engineering techniques / standards and soft wares like CG-Lux, Dilux etc.
    • Validation and inspection of Electrical equipment.
    • Standardization of design procedures.
    • Checking of design calculations
    • Providing guidance to design engineers and draftsmen in group
    • Review of vendor drawings
    He/ She should be conversant with
    • 3D-Modelling, Auto-CAD
    • ISO certified company environment
    • Relevant Industrial design codes such as IS / IEC / NEC / API / IEEE Codes & standards.
    • He / She should be comfortable with short domestic/ international trips to site.
