Electronics engineering is as challenging and in demand as software engineering these days. Eligibility and personal qualitiesEngineering courses are done after doing 10 2 by acquiring at least 75 % and above marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and also preferably Computer Science. Several State Government Engineering colleges normally hold entrance tests for BE. You can also do B. Tech. Both these courses are of 4 years duration while diploma in any branch of engineering from polytechnic institutes is of 2 to 3 years. Selection to engineering courses is done either on the basis of merit or by entrance exams conducted on All India Level. Electronics engineering requires a very high level of concentration, a sharp memory and a quick learning ability. Those who are very thorough in subjects like Physics and Mathematics can be successful in this field since concepts these subjects are basics in this profession. ,
