Job Description

  • Basic (EMT-B) respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility.
  • understands basic medical-legal principles;
  • Handing and taking over routine procedures as ECT /Ambulance
  • Placing it in the ambulance and seeing that the patient and stretcher are secured, continuing emergency medical care while enroute to the medical facility.
  • To follow the check list on daily basis
  • Responsible for basic emergency care BLS/ACLS
  • Administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including use of automated external defibrillators;
  • Maintenance of rubber goods used to patient if necessary
  • To ensure the emergency medical equipment s and ambulance services equipment s as the check list
  • To follow the patients safety during the transportations (Ambulance) To co-ordinate with emergency team during the patients pick up and drop if any critical situation during the transportations
  • To perform the duty in Occupational Health centre as the hospital initiatives
  • To verify the minimum drugs availability of ambulance
  • To update medical equipment training with our biomedical engineer
  • Effective management of outpatient treatment rooms.
  • To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
  • To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
  • To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.
  • To perform any work as and when assigned by superior.
