    Hi CandidatesGreetings of the dayWe are hiring for,English Language Editor-Quality Check_Edtech2 - 5 years 5,00,000 - 6,00,000 P.A.Kolkata, MumbaiWe are looking for experienced editors (at least 2 years in the publishing industry) passionate about content editing and review of school books and learning material related to the K12 curriculum. A very good knowledge of the English language and great proficiency in written English is a must. The candidate should be eager to work with academic content, have an inquisitive mind, and should be good at finding and correcting errors. The candidate should be able to reevaluate and review the content of school textbooks (K12 segment), lesson plans and question papers in a meaningful manner.Mandatory Skills:A sound knowledge of English grammar and languageProficient in written and spoken EnglishAn eye for detailGood at spotting and correcting errorsAble to conduct meaningful research and cross-check facts in order to review the contentFamiliar with basic content editing styles (Oxford and Cambridge)Familiar with editing PDF and word soft copies, with PDF tools and track changesAbility to manage workflows and keep track of work progressAbility to handle assigned work independentlyAbility to communicate and coordinate with the content teamsEligibility:Must have a Masters degree in English LiteratureMust have an education in an English Medium backgroundMust have at least 2 years of editing experienceShould be passionate about content editing and researchShould be familiar with school education and school textbooksShould be eager to learn and quick to absorb knowledgeShould have a proven expertise in the English languageShould be a team player and good at coordinationExpectation from the candidate:Assist in the edit and review of school-level (K-12) books and learning materialCross-check all factual details in books, lesson plans and other learning materialSolve questions and correct any errors in the answers in question papers and question banksBe available and open to constant training sessions to improve skills, and be eager to learn and growBe able to manage worklfows and coordinate with content teams to ensure productivityRole-Copy EditorIndustry Type-Education / TrainingFunctional Area-Content, Editorial & JournalismEmployment Type-Full Time, PermanentRole Category-Editing (Print / Online / Electronic)EducationPG :M.A in Communication, English, JournalismKey SkillsRegards,Hr Team
