Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONTHIS IS A RELOCATION TEACHING POSITION JOB,WHICH IS IN THE U.A.E(UNITED ARAB EMIRATES). CANDIDATES INTRESTED/WILLING TO RELOCATE SHOULD ONLY APPLY.Education & Experience Required:

  1. Bachelors Degree in English, Languages, Linguistics + CELTA (or Level 5 equivalent) Masters degree preferred.
  2. PGCE in Secondary Education with a focus on English, Languages, Linguistics
  3. B.Ed. is a must for the above Teaching position.
  4. Should have an IELTS of 7-Academic/ 7.5 General (with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill) prior to applying for the position.
(Mandatory)Computer literate. Excellent oral and written English essential. Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a middle or high school level.Job Specifications:
  1. Responsible for planning, managing and improving the learning of their own students, working with other team members.
  2. In collaboration with Lead Teachers to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
  3. Responsible for planning and participating in professional development opportunities to further their own knowledge, skills and abilities.
  4. To manage all facilities and activities related to achieve student learning.
  5. Responsible for achieving the set learning outcomes in students, and therefore supervise all student activities and processes to ensure outcomes.
  6. To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with program quality assurance processes.
  7. To manage the learning of the students, maintaining records, collaborating with other teachers and promoting staff development in a pro-active manner.
  8. To play a leadership role in role-modeling behavior, attitudes, and learning behaviors for students.
  9. Teachers liaise with Student Counselors, as required. Communicate progress and performance to students and school management/administration.
  10. Maturity, intelligence, energy and a good sense of humor
  11. Diplomacy and tact Outstanding initiative and enthusiasm
  12. Moral courage and integrity
  13. Patience, resilience and flexibility
  14. Strong interpersonal skills
  15. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
