Job Responsibilities Network:Monitoring of network and network performance.Install, upgrade, configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches etc.LAN/WAN troubleshooting with protocols such HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Tunneling Protocols (IPSEC / GRE) etc.Configuration and troubleshooting of different kind of Access-lists, firewall rule base to provide secured access.Inventory maintenance.Preparing monthly reports, processing payments to vendors, budgets for expenditure etc.Defining network policies and procedures.Proper documentation and updating of documents related to network activities.Deploying network monitoring tools for effective and proactive network management.Security:Install, upgrade, configure and troubleshoot network security devices such as firewalls, IPS, proxy server etc.Understand requirements of network security and contribute in adherence of network policies and procedure as laid out by organization.Be a member of security operationsKey Skills:This is a key position as it relates to production support of critical applications and involves working in morning/ afternoon shifts.
