Job Description

  • Candidate should be able to perform the calibrations of Analytical Balances, FT-IR, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer (KF) Autotitrator, Potentiometric titration and Coulometric titration, High Performance Liquid Chromatography and GC with Empower-3 software. Candidate must have good exposure on Empower-3 software.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Should able to calibrate instruments like
  1. Analytical Balances
  2. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR),
  3. UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
  4. Karl Fischer (KF) Autotitrator, Potentiometric titration and Coulometric titration.
  5. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with specific detectors [Photo Diode Array (PDA) /Diode Array Detector (DAD), UV-Vis / Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD), Multiple Wavelength Detector (MWD), Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD), Conductivity Detector (CD), Fluorescence Detector (FLD) & Refractive Index Detector (RID)].
  6. Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC),
  7. Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC)
  8. Ion-chromatography (IC)
  9. Gas Chromatography (GC) Auto sampler with specific detectors [Flame Ionization Detector (FID) and Thermal Couple Detector (TCD)]
  10. Gas chromatography with Head space module (GC-HS).
  • Should able to execute calibration independently.
  • Should able to execute the activities with proper documentation.
  • Should aware with different techniques of laboratory investigations.
  • Should be able to overcome with analytical trouble shooting of the instruments.
  • Follow environment health safety sustainability (EHSS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
  • Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Educational Qualification:
  • M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry) / B. Sc.
Functional Skills:
  • Should have good knowledge on Empower software, Tiamo and ChemStation software.
  • Theoretical knowledge in Chromatography and spectroscopy technique.
  • Preparation and Maintenance of all the documents.
Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years
Behavioral Skills:
  • Able to follow instructions and perform the tasks under the supervision of the project leader.
  • Fair interpersonal skills.
  • Good Team player.
