As a Lead Software Engineer, youll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within DG.Would like to have:1) At least 5+ years experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)2) Expertise with React.js, Angular NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular 6-14, HTML5, CSS3, MongoDB, REST APIs, Azure, Object Oriented Programing (OOP) experience is a plus3) Knowledge of Java and/or Python Understanding of CI/CD, Test Automation, DevOps Agile and Jira Software design patterns will be adon.4) Experience with AWS5) DevOps and/or Data Science experience is a plus6) Passion for technology, software development, and mathematics7) Strong written and verbal communications skills8) Exceptional quantitative and analytical skillsWhat you will do:1) Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed micro services, and full stack systems to create solutions2) Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community3) Collaborate with product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences4) Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and AZURE cloud, and tools and servicesPersonal SkillsFocuses on delivering better outcomes over task completionSelf-awareness and proactive on continuous improvement and continual learningPositive attitude and a clear sense of initiativeComfortable dealing with uncertaintyBrakes problems down, analyses constituent parts and proposes creative solutionsOpen-minded collaborator with a growth mindsetClear communicator who can manage stakeholder expectationsBuilds trust, safety and inclusion in teamsIdentifies and mitigates risksLeading teams and stakeholder management is a big part of the role
