Job Description

*The candidate will be based out of Mumbai and will be working with the FX Option Trading desk (Hong Kong).The role suits a self-motivated, highly energetic individual who has strong attention to detail. Successful applicant is expected to start with the administrative aspect of our workflow and will be more involved in trading-related responsibilities over time.Responsibilities include:The candidate will be involved in

  • Monitoring trade flow (from processing to affirmation and settlement of trades) and work with front office and back office to ensure trading activities are properly booked in internal system
  • Working with salespeople and clients to resolve all breaks in a timely manner and ensure daily deliverables are met
  • Daily oversight of all trade booking, settlement and related activities such as option expiries and documentation
  • Analyzing and Explaining Risks (hedges) and P&L of the trade books
  • Aiding the desk in valuing products
  • Helping in improving procedures and aiding in automation of the models
, * The candidate should have theoretical or practical understanding of -
  • Option Greeks and their behavior over time
  • FX derivative products like vanilla, American barrier options, range accruals, Digitals etc.
  • Basic options trading strategies
  • General behavior of Fixed Income markets
Preferred Credentials
  • University graduate in Finance, Business or related disciplines
  • Experience in trade support function is appreciated but not a must
  • Coursework/Strong understanding in Economics, Econometrics, Finance
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Advance knowledge of VBA and programming
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
