Job Title / Designation: General Manager - Chain of Restaurants - Mumbai / PuneThe Client (About the Group / Organization):The client is a leading diversified well integrated Media & Communication Group and is in JV with one of Indias finest luxury real estate developers for this projectThe Assignment (The Role / Job Description): General Manager to set up and run a chain of Bar & restaurants.Responsibilities:He will be responsible for setting up and running the business from scratch.A lot of travel will be requiredA) Business Development and Revenue Generation- Responsible for P&L of the restaurants- Retain and grow business - Optimize and maintain control on overheads- Improve Cash Flow and Collections- Set budgets or agree them with senior managementB) Strategic Planning- Monitor competition and use innovative ideas to maximize market share while maintaining alignment to overall business & company strategy- Formulate and deliver annual strategies and reviews- Market IntelligenceC) Team Management- Actively build team across departments- Coordinate the operation of the restaurants ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team.- Implement & maintain processes and systems for smooth functioning - Contribute to ideas and concepts for furthering the team objectives The Person (Candidate Details): A) Experience : i) Around 32 - 35 yrsii) Male / Femaleiii) Graduate / MBA / Hospitality Management / Hotel & Cateringiv) Strong impersonal skills and an understanding of franchising businessv) Strong business relationship in the F & B industry with International branding experience preferred.vi) Proven ability to develop new businessvii) Should have experience in managing multiple restaurants at multiple locationsviii) Knowledge and understanding of cashflow management and P&L managementWork Experience: From 8 yrs TO 10 yrs Job Location: Mumbai / Pune,
